Over the years, the running of an Owners Corporation has become highly legislated and complex so as to safeguard the financial, physical and emotional investment of owners.

Our aim at MBCM Richmond is to administer the common areas and resultant issues as well as the finances of your property to the best of our ability. We encourage communication leading to the understanding and participation of all Owners in the management of their block.
As the price of property creeps ever upwards, more and more of Melbourne's population is opting for communal living or investing in apartments or townhouses. This brings with it many advantages but also the need to realise that, as a purchaser, you become a responsible member of an Owners Corporation. By Owners accepting this responsibility, the result is a smooth and harmonious community occupying a well maintained and desirable block.

Richmond is a village and we regard ourselves as "Village People". We are Richmond based, in a wonderful heritage building, and manage the common areas of buildings in Richmond and Richmond only. Our small but dedicated office staff is available Monday to Friday to help with any queries plus an afterhour's emergency service should major problems arise.

After Hours Emergency.

Owners are advised that in the event of an after-hours emergency such as an urgent plumbing, electrical, glass breakage or an event that cannot wait for our return, they may call Scotia Property Maintenance. Scotia provides an after-hours emergency service and can be contacted direct on 1300 726 842. Please note; this is an after-hours emergency number and should only be used between the hours of 5.00pm and 9.00am. This number may be used for 24 hour emergencies on week-ends and public holidays. Scotia Property Maintenance is experienced in handling all types of Owners Corporation emergencies and will respond accordingly. For emergencies during normal office hours, please contact our office. Please note, Owners will be required to accept responsibility for charge(s) if the emergency is a unit owner responsibility and not that of the Owners Corporation.
